“I’m sick of being used,” seethes Logan Michael. He doesn’t hold back when it comes to his brand-new song. As heartache courses in his veins, he uses heart-thumper “Breaking Point (FU)” to say all the things he’s been longing to say. “I’ve been shootin’ whiskey, dying inside,” he sings. He both cries into his beer and howls to the midnight moon. It’s that pain that informs his gravel-soak vocal performance, trembling and rage-filled.

Lyrics fall like acid off the tongue. “I won’t spend another second tryin’ for a love when all our time was spent on fightin’,” he sings in the second verse. “No, I don’t give a damn about your cryin’ ’cause I know the dirty secrets you’ve been hidin’ / You’ve been lyin’.”

Percussion jangles in Michael’s pocket, giving it a pep as he fires off thorns at every single turn. It all comes to a boil with the chorus, finding the singer shedding the past like a second skin. “You fuckin’ kill me, bleedin’ me dry,” he sings, biting his thumb. “You’re the reason I don’t get no sleep at night”
