Blaine Holcomb Does A Little ‘Boot Shoppin’ With New Tune (Exclusive Premiere)
Blaine Holcomb readies a good old-fashioned hoedown.
With his brand new song “Boot Shoppin’,” premiering today on Countrypolitan, the rising star scoots his boots on the dance floor as he shows his new girlfriend exactly how country boys do things ’round here. “Before she laid her eyes on me / She never hung no Wrangler jeans / From the tree limb down by the creek bend on Friday night,” he sings.
He kicks up some dust and invites the listener to get in on the fun. “And now she wanna go boot shoppin’ / Straight tequila shot, honky tonk hoppin’,” he sings. “Pull out her phone and do some Tik TikToking / Once she gets going, there ain’t no stopping.”
“Boot Shoppin'” is the sort of feel-good, soul-rockin’ anthem that’ll make you groove and sing along. The song, packed with classic country instrumentation, anchors a forthcoming project, slated for a fall release. Produced by songwriter Jay Brunswick (Chris Janson, Parmalee, Reba), the EP sees Holcomb going next level in every conceivable way. “I’m really proud of this new project, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone,” he says. “I feel like Jay and I have taken it to the next level with these new songs, and I can’t wait to get them out to the world. I hope you love them as much as I do.”
Listen to “Boot Shoppin'” below.
The new EP follows 2021’s Over a Beer, a project nearing one million collective streams, and his Lessons EP issued in 2022. From upstate New York, Holcomb has more than proven his worth as a promising songwriting and performing talent. He’s clearly connecting with fans (his numbers are not too shabby), and it’s inevitable he’ll be a household name in no time.
