Summer is waning, but that doesn’t mean the good times need to stop. 

With his new song “I Could Get Used to This,” co-written by Craig Campbell, Jason Matthews, and Ben Hayslip, Cody Cozz pours the romance on thick. His voice croons over the words, as he confesses his love for another. “I could get used to this, swimming inside those ocean eyes,” he sings. With a voice as sweet as honey, Cozz delivers the lyrics in hushed whispers that will make anyone swoon.

Thinking he’d been in love “a time or two,” that all changed after he held his new lover “for the very first time.” He was floored by her embrace, enticed by her gaze, and mesmerized by tender kisses.“I never had anybody treat me this way / I never dream that I would see this day,” he sings. “Now that I found you, I don’t wanna let go / So don’t go letting me go / I’m just letting you know, girl.”

Earlier this year, Cozz released “Wanna Be That Guy” and “I’m Just a Country Song,” both of which have snagged tens of thousands of streams apiece. It’s rather clear Cozz is connecting to a broader audience, and it’s only onward and upward from here. We can’t wait to hear what he does next; it’s sure to be a hit.
