Jordan Moore pores the romance on thick with his new song. 

“We Still Got Today” smolders around the edges, with Moore’s voice sweltering and melting in the sun. Co-written with producer Zane Fischer, the soaring, drum-heavy love song finds the singer-songwriter declaring his undying devotion. “Don’t matter what comes tomorrow / We still got today,” he sings in the chorus.

The endurance of love plays with the song’s tender heartbeat. Guitars roar, even as Moore pulls in the reins with the lyrics. Such intimacy allows him to become raw and vulnerable. “I’m gonna love in this wide open, lose track of time, keep on rolling,” he sings. Within its glassy exterior, Moore proves that he can perform a love song with the best of ‘em.

When Moore set about writing the chorus, he envisioned the spot where he filmed its accompanying music video. “For those of you who don’t know, Dale Hollow in Celina, Tennessee is a little slice of heaven with massive views and crystal blue waters,” he says. “It’s a true northwest vibe and was the perfect spot to film.”

“We Still Got Today” follows “Backwoods Paradise,” released earlier this year.
