Yours – Ashley Ryan

From the opening notes, dripping with honey-sweet electric guitar riffs, “Yours” exudes a sense of determination, setting the stage for the empowering narrative that unfolds. Ryan’s vocals effortlessly carry the emotion of the song, conveying a journey of growth, self-discovery, and unapologetic authenticity. “Go ahead and leave your key / On the porch underneath the welcome mat / you ain’t welcome here no more / I don’t care where you go / forget any hope of me clinging on / You can tarnish my name / Say I’m to blame / You can call me anything / But yours.”

The lyrics of “Yours” are nothing short of a triumph. Ryan artfully weaves a story of a woman who embraces her own identity, knowing her true worth and what it means to be anything but “yours.” She is her own woman, with or without someone by her side.
Ashley’s musical talents were even recognized by none other than Keith Urban at one of his tour release date parties. A quick dialogue between the two led to an impromptu duet of Keith’s hit song “Without You” to a sold-out show at  Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Ashley is a regular at Whiskey Jam, The Bluebird Cafe, and more.

Her single “Hush Little Baby”, was released January 20, 2023, after gaining over 12 million views on Tik Tok and Facebook.
