Nashville’s Professional Bull Riding Team to Host Street Party
The Nashville Stampede turns up the heat this weekend. In tandem with Stampede Days, the city’s first-ever professional bull-riding team is set to host a street party surrounding the Bridgestone Arena. Specifically, the event will span Rep. John Lewis Way S between Broadway and Demonbreun.
The street party officially kicks off at noon on Friday (August 18) and lasts the entire weekend, with Saturday (August 19) and Sunday (August 20) opening at 10 am. Each day will feature a theme: Friday will celebrate Champions Day; Saturday focuses on Ryan Dirteater Day; and Sunday honors Back the Blue, an event to commemorate the bull-riding team and first responders.
Slated to be family-friendly, the event will allow fans to meet founding members of the Professional Bull Riding team, as well as top animal athletes, and even take a ride atop a mechanical bull. Exhibitors include Dan Post Boots, Bass Pro Shops, Kubota, and Nashville Superspeedway.
In addition to line-dancing lessons, there will be plenty of musical talent performing on the first two days. Artists include CJ Field, Chancie Neal, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Trailer Flowers, Cody Hibbard, The 615 House’s Diamond Dixie, George Birge, Chase McDaniel, Logan Crosby, and Austin McNeil.
Stampede Days tickets are currently on sale for $20/day via Ticketmaster. Three-day weekend passes are also available.
