
Music City Welcomes NHL Awards with Appearances by Dierks Bentley, Jelly Roll, Jessie James Decker & More
Music City is a popular destination for country music and is now becoming the top destination for sports.
The NHL (National Hockey League) took over Bridgestone Arena last night (6/26) for a night full of incredible accomplishments, performances by Nashville’s rising talent, and a host suited perfectly for the job – Dierks Bently.
Before the award show kicked off, Countrypolitan hit the red carpet to catch some of the hottest acts within the country music genre make their arrival.
Hitting the carpet included Jessie James Decker, Kidd G, Dustin Lynch, Trevor Rosen of Old Dominion, Jelly Roll, Alana Springsteen, Mackenzie Porter, and several others.
As Dierks hosted, he brought out his son Knox for this special night honoring and showcasing the most respected hockey players throughout the league.
As they both matched in suites, the pair brought the energy to Bridgestone Arena.
Throughout the event, Nashville was represented well with pre-show sets from Brothers Osborne and Mitchell Tenpenny.
Evening presenters included Jelly Roll, Trisha Yearwood, Darius Rucker, LoCash, Old Dominion‘s Trevor Rosen, and Jessie James Decker.
Performances throughout the award show included Alana Springsteen, Brett Kissell, Kidd G, and Mackenzie Porter.
