Debuting her first single of 2023, pop singer-songwriter Liv Hanna is making a statement.

On Friday (6/2), Liv released her new single “Back To Hell,” which is available on all digital platforms now.

“I chose “Back to Hell” as my first release this year as I found it to be the most relatable to how I was feeling and what I was going through at the start of the year,” tells Hanna

As the songbird continuities to flourish throughout her career, she brings elements of pop, dark pop, and pop rock into the forefront of her music.

“It is definitely difficult to write from a dark place because to write from a dark place, you need to be in a dark place. It’s often easier to ignore it and distract yourself rather than diving deeper into your emotions, let alone writing about them, but I felt it was necessary to share this song,” tells Liv.

With “Back To Hell,” the singer-songwriter returns to the limelight and sets her fans up for upcoming releases with a few more singles and an EP project released in late 2023.

As Liv empowers and embraces solo writing when it comes to her career, she keeps that special place within.

“I love writing alone. I feel like it’s a safe space to really deep dive into your emotions, and you’re the only one who can really verbalize your thoughts. Although, I have recently had a lot of amazing experiences writing with talented songwriters and friends. Songwriting with these people is so special to me, and I am so appreciative to be able to do so,” tells Liv.
