Charly Reynolds Reminds Ex Lovers That “She Ain’t Me” with Sassy New Country SIngle (Interview)
If Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert had a twin within the country music industry, that’d be Charly Reynolds.
Released everywhere today (6/2), Reynolds releases sass-filled new single “She Ain’t Me.”
“I have been trying to write a fierce upbeat anthem like She Ain’t Me for years, but honestly, for me, they can be harder to write. But with Nicole Croteau and Chris Utley writing with me, we were able to write exactly what I have been looking for all along!” tells Reynolds.
Written along with Nicole Croteau and Chris Utley, Reynolds sings about an ex that cheated with a girl who was identical to herself.
“I had the title already and the idea behind it came from an ex of mine a few years ago who cheated on me with a girl who looked exactly like me. So we used that inspiration, added a little sass, and She Ain’t Me was born,” shares Reynolds.

The charismatic singer-songwriter has been trailblazing throughout this year with releases like “Out of My Hands,” “Flowers,” and “One Day at a Time,” however, she’s been recovering from a major vocal surgery that happened at the beginning of the year.
The success of those singles has led her to incredible opportunities including being the red carpet correspondent for popular country music publication, Country Now, at this year’s CMT Music Awards.
“I have been releasing so much new music and I am so happy with the way people have been reacting to the singles. I can say, that She Ain’t Me is the main single on my upcoming debut EP that releases at the end of this month,” tells Reynolds. “I am beyond excited to finally have this project out in the world. Some of the songs were written 2 years ago, and some just a few months ago. It all has come together so beautifully.“
The release of “She Ain’t Me” slates Charly’s debut six-song EP releasing at the end of this month.
As Charly continues to release music, she’s also preparing for her debut performance at CMA Fest on June 8th at the Spotlight Stage inside Fan Fair X beginning at 2 pm.
“I feel so honored to be officially a part of the CMA fest lineup this year. It is something I have been dreaming of for a very long time and feel very blessed! I can’t wait to be downtown meeting everyone and singing my new songs,” tells Charly with excitement.
