Sasha McVeigh Brings In Holiday Cheer with “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” (Exclusive)

Throughout the past year, Nashville transplant Sasha McVeigh has been preparing for her favorite holiday, Christmas.

Officially on all streaming platforms tomorrow, Sasha will be releasing her beautiful rendition of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.”

Christmas is without a doubt my favorite time of the year. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of Christmastime spent with my family, at the house I grew up in, in England. One of the things that was wonderful about recording this song is that it brought all of those memories to the forefront of my mind. In fact, the cover art is a photograph of the back garden of the house back home,” tells Sasha.

You can watch the official video for Sasha McVeigh’s “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” exclusively via Countrypolitan below.

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas has always been one of my Dad’s favorite Christmas songs and my Dad is the reason I grew up with a love of country music. He’s 84 now and suffers from Alzheimer’s, but when Christmas comes around he still talks about seeing ‘Meet Me In St Louis’ and falling for Judy Garland, and that song, when he was a kid. I wanted to record a version of this song as somewhat of a tribute to him,” tells Sasha.
