Singer-songwriter Laine Lonero introduced her new track “Back to Me” a couple of months ago after a fresh breakup.

“I got broken up with a few months ago, and I just haven’t been able to get back to myself. So I wrote a song about it and this is it.”

Lonero and Michael Farren are the writers, and Farren has previously worked with artists like Reba McEntire and Lauren Daigle.

The lyrics are noteworthy for playing with numbers and counting. Along with the piano-based instrumental, Lonero’s voice is also stunning. The fragile emotion is heightened by choir-like backing vocals as the song progresses.
