On November 19, Gabby Barrett released the deluxe edition of her debut album Goldmine. The album features four new tracks in addition to the previous ones. Her powerful voice and vulnerable songs have earned Barrett a place as one of country music’s brightest stars.
In advance of the deluxe album, the song “Pick Me Up” was released. She has also released a wedding version of her smash hit “The Good Ones.” “The Good Ones (Wedding Version)” is a gorgeous, stripped-down version of a song that has become a marriage anthem.
This track is rife with nostalgia as Barrett takes it on. Taking anything for granted in life is something you can never get back in “Never Get It Back.”. From growing up to leaving your parents’ house to moving on from a breakup, this song explores formative experiences.
As the final brand-new song on Goldmine Deluxe, Barrett covers “I Will Always Love You.” The song was originally written by Dolly Parton and recorded by Whitney Houston. She sings with just the right amount of control and passion, and her voice does the song justice.
