Alyssa Micaela Shares Highly Relatable Single for All Ladies with “Hell in a Handbag” (Interview)

Known for throwing a good time with her music, Alyssa Micaela delivers her latest single, “Hell in a Handbag.

Micaela’s lyrical deep-dive into every woman’s favorite accessory was first popularized on Micaela’s TikTok, when a short teaser clip of the song amassed over 2.3 million views and 5,000 comments.

Hell in a Handbag is about all the interesting things us women carry in our purses! It’s one of my favorite songs I’ve written because it’s about being happy with who you are and not caring what anybody thinks,” explains Micaela

“My biggest goal when I’m writing songs is to write things that are true to me and relatable for whoever is listening. I hope when people hear this song they feel like they know me a little bit and think I’m someone they’d wanna drink a [pickle] beer with,” expresses Alyssa.

In addition to more than seven million streamed tracks on Spotify, music videos premiered with CMT, and opening slots for giants like Willie Nelson, Eli Young Band, Aaron Watson, and more, her music has given her a wide international audience. She signed with Liz Rose Music in 2015 and released her debut single “Getaway Car” in 2016.

“I’ve been working really hard this year on a new project and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it because I really feel like they’re my best songs yet!” explains Alyssa
